Özlem Sarıyıldız received her bachelor’s degree from the Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Industrial Design, and her undergraduate degree from METU Department of Media and Cultural Studies. She has been interested in making videos and documentaries since her undergraduate years. Yunus Emre Aydın graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Philosophy. He is currently doing his graduate studies in the same university. He is a professional photographer. He is also a musician and plays oud. Istanbul Notes is his first film as a director.
