Ali and Meryem are an ordinary family on the surface. Meryem has a child from a previous relationship with Ferit. When Ferit reappears years later, Ali puts his wife to a test of trust. While Meryem is caught between her sense of gratitude and the agony of love, Ali's self-esteem begins to crumble. Ferit's murder fans the flames of distrust between them. They are too suspicious of one another to talk. During the police questioning, they cling to one another once again. Complicity becomes the glue of trust between them. Now they are a proper family.

Director SEFA ÖZTÜRK
Sefa Öztürk Çolak (Düzce, 1980) graduated from Yıldız Technical University with a degree in civil engineering but continued her professional life first as a journalist, television programmer and editor. She later worked as an assistant director on cinema and various television shows. Trust is her debut feature as a director. |
