SYNOPSIS
Six year old Emre is sent to his maternal grandparents' summer house in the spring. His parents have to take care of his paternal grandmother who is seriously ill. For Emre, being at the summer house is like being in heaven, getting his grandparents' compasionate attention and playing with his friend Cicek. However, the news of his grandmother's death will crack his picture perfect world and he will do all he can to avoid the reality.

 Uygar Şirin has been a film critic since 1993 and has written for "Antrakt", "Sinema", "Film+" and "DVD+" movie magazines. He has been working as a copywriter since 1997, has two published novels and one filmed script. He co-wrote and co-directed two short films, Birth and Death, with Burcu Aykar Şirin.
Burcu Aykar Şirin graduated from the psychology department of Bosphorus University, got her master's degree in film studies at the University of Southampton. She worked as an editor at the film magazine "Sinema". She started her own company and worked as a film distributor for two years. She was the editor in chief of Total Film Turkey from 2006 to September 2008. She co-wrote and co-directed two short films, "Birth" and "Death" with Uygar Şirin. She continues to write film critiques for "Sinema" magazine.
