SYNOPSIS
The latest film Taylan Brothers have directed is a noir comedy that delicately tells the story of a small town family. Engin Günaydin, who has also scripted the film, plays Celal, a despondent man, unhappily married with a child to Sevilay. He works together with his brother Cemal, at their electrical appliances shop, drowned in debt. But the worse is, he is in love with a singer who works at a sleazy night club in Samsun. Cemal, thinking of saving himself with the money Sevilay has saved unbeknownst to her husband, makes a plan.

Directors YAGMUR TAYLAN & DURUL TAYLAN
Yagmur Taylan was born in 1966 in Bursa. He graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. In 1997 he quit his psychiatry practice and started to work as a film director and producer with his brother, Durul. Since then he directed many films, including television series, advertisements, and two feature films. Vavien is his third feature film.
Durul Taylan was born in 1969 in Bursa. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1990. He worked as an author of cinema in various journals such as "Antrakt", "Sinema Gazetesi" until he began directing films with TV series, "Sir Dosyasi".
